Terri Lynn Ellis-Brearey

Following her son Trenten's diagnosis of Infant Sleep Apnea, a rarely addressed disease in infants and children, Terri Lynn Ellis-Brearey set out on a mission to educate families about the devastating effects of childhood and pediatric pulmonary issues.

In 2008, the Brearey Family founded the Infant & Children Sleep Apnea Awareness Foundation. Ms. Brearey currently serves as the foundation's Executive Director.

Prior to establishing the foundation, Ms. Brearey held positions in various fields including major construction management, real estate and property management, events management and human resource management.

After placing her professional career on hold, Ms. Brearey now dedicates her energy to increasing awareness and education of childhood and pediatric pulmonary issues and to carrying out the mission of the Foundation.

Mrs. Brearey brings over 21 years of experience in operations management, employee recruiting, team development, and marketing and public relations to the Foundation.

The Brearey Family lives in New Smyrna Beach, FL and travels throughout the nation promoting Trenten's Story and the foundations mission.

Dr. Rajesh K. Ailani, M.D.

New Smyrna Beach, FL

Dr. Rajesh Ailani earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Topiwala National Medical College - Bombay India. and he completed his residency at Meridia Huron Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine / Critical Care Medicine / Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Ailani presently has a private practice, which specializes in pulmonary and critical care, sleeping disorders, asthma, COPD, pleural effusion, pulmonary nodules and ventilator management along with a Sleep Disorder Center located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He is a member of the American College of Physicians (1994-present), Chest Physicians (1997-present), Thoracic Society (1998-present) and Critical Care Medicine (1999-present).

Pamela Carbiener, MD

Daytona Beach, FL

Dr. Pamela Carbiener earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, and later graduated from medical school at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. She completed both her internship and residency programs at Georgetown University Hospital, in Washington, D.C. She is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is currently practicing with Halifax OB/GYN Associates in Daytona Beach.

In addition to her many years of clinical and academic research, Dr. Carbiener has served in a variety of administrative and leadership roles within the medical community during recent years, including: Volusia County Medical Society, President (2004); Halifax Medical Center Executive Committee (2002-present); and Halifax Medical Center Credential Committee (2004-present)

David E. Geller, MD

Orlando, FL

Director, Aerosol Research Laboratory, Pediatric Pulmonology, Nemours Children's Clinic

Dr. David E. Geller earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at University of California, Los Angeles Hospital and Clinics and his fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Geller currently serves as the Director of the Aerosol Research Laboratory and the Cystic Fibrosis Center, at The Nemours Children's Clinic in Orlando, Florida.

His current research focuses on the characterization and improvement of the delivery of aerosolized therapeutics in infants and children, and the study of new therapies in asthma and cystic fibrosis, including several pharmacokinetic trials of new aerosol drugs.

Dr. Geller is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics and is certified in pediatric pulmonology. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society, the American Medical Association, the International Society for Aerosols in Medicine, the European Respiratory Society, and the Florida Medical Association.

The author or co-author of over 60 abstracts or articles, Dr. Geller is also a frequent lecturer on respiratory disease. He has conducted numerous clinical trials on asthma and cystic fibrosis. He is currently on the editorial boards of a number of professional journals, including Pediatric Pulmonology; Journal of Pediatrics; Pediatric Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology; and American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
